G-AYGE when based at the Imperial War Museum,
​Duxford, England

Stampe SV4c G-AYGE spent many years at the Imperial War Museum, RAF Duxford, England  where the film 'The Battle of Britain' was filmed. There, the aircraft was looked after by the Aircraft Restoration Company that restore and build many warbirds as well as other vintage aircraft. G-AYGE was advertised for sale on the Aircraft Restoration Company website.

Armistice 11/11/2018. 100 Year Anniversary of WW1

Due to one of the Stampe Teams aircraft being offline, G-AYGE was asked to the part in the WW1 Poppy Drops and flybys on the 100 year anniversary of World War One. 3 church flybys at High Halden, Biddenden, Boughton Aulph and 2 Poppy Drops at Headcorn and the WW1 Airbase Stow Maries in Essex.
